I tried searching first but didn't see any topics on this. Anyone seen these dorrs in person? I"m curious what the quality and fitment is like and I'm also curious if they're just skins or full frame doors that I can use on the streets. Any more info or pics would be appreciated.

even if they fit right cant you find something better than that to spend $1300 on, thats just me, what exactly is the advantage of cf doors anyway... omg theyre lighter, and you're $1300 poorer.

Think about how many idiots slam their door into yours in the parking lots... Would you really want them slamming it on a door that expensive?

I've seen full dry carbon doors for WRX's for $1300/pair.

I know that Limited Magic makes some kind of CF door insert (not a complete door, AFAIK), that is available at Raretrick for S14's for like $800.

Uhhhh... thanks for the constructive criticism. I am just trying to gather information so that I can make a decision on whether to purchase these doors or not. My project car is not going to be a daily driver so I'm not worried about shopping carts or people slamming into my doors.

sensibleS13driver, sorry if my ideas don't conform to your likings. Unfortunately I'm not building a car to please you this time around but I'll make sure my next Project 240 is to your standards.

HashiriyaS14, thanks for the head's up on the door panels. I'm not sure if they would work in my s13 and from the description, it looks like they are made for a RHD model.

pretty much if you want cf doors your interior should be gunked also. cf bucket seats and all the tar ripped off your car,

car should weigh around 2000lbs. if youre going that far you should get the cf pieces that go on the bumper and the big cf adjustable wing for downforce, of course all lexan and Wide body. go build a gt car haha

havn't heard or seen these anywhere.......and i'm not trying to be an *** but i think i would go with a nice turbo upgrade then 1300 doors

anywho if you want lighter doors jsut take get manual doors instead of power and take all the crap out thats on the inside

if you want cf doors cause they look cool (and although i'm gonna get flamed for saying this i think they would be cool with a hood, hatch, and fenders) you could buy all the material and learn to do it your self for a fraction of the price. plus you would know a new skill and could cf other things.

this is jsut my 2cents anyway......good luck

hi, the entire point of cf doors is to lighten the car. with that being said, they don't offer much structural integrity, since they lack the crash bars found in stock doors. to safely run cf doors, you should have beefy door bars on your rollcage specifically reinforcing that area, so if you get hit on the track, you'll still be protected. running cf doors on a daily driven street car is just idiotic, imo.

anyway, to each his own. good luck!

*edit*hpi also makes cf doors for s13, i think.*edit*

If they are anything like the HPI doors the fitment should be pretty good. HPI sells them for about 1100.00 but they only sell in japan. I say go for it.

Umm, they're $2300. Damn.

I only paid $3000 for my whole car.
