sorry, i accidentelly posted that. But the two ways: you can run all new runs of wires to the speakers, or go to where the oem amp is and jump from oem inputs to the oem outs.

Only "Active Speaker" equipped 240's have this amplifier (tag is located on door speaker covers)

--->IF YOU HAVE A HATCHBACK<---The amp is located very near your antenna motor/timer units.

Get in your trunk and remove the carpeting, then remove the wall carpeting on the drivers side around the trunk and strut tower. You can use a big flat blade to wedge out the plastic clips and a #2 phillips for the floor screws. Then remove your driver's side speaker including the plastic it is mounted on.

Use a flashlight and look through your rear quarter glass from the outside and you will see the unit right next to the speaker, up under the inside of the speaker hole.

it has a 75A fuse stuck in it on the speaker side, (it must be a 65-70A amplifier, i guess) and its kinda oblong. remove the clip and harness and you are good!

--->IF YOU HAVE A COUPE<---The amp is located, very simply, right next to the drivers side speaker; off of the same harness point. It should be mounted on the underside of the rear window shelf and (if looking at it from the rear of the vehicle) just to the right of the speaker.

--->AND FOR BOTH<---right rear color for wires is L/Y and L/W.rear left color for wires is BR/W and plain BR.

Hope this gets bookmarked, its absolutely true. ENJOY!
