bypassing bose poweramp

i installed an aftermarket deck, everythin works except the speakers and i know theres a bose poweramp, how do i bypass it?

You need an adapter for the bose speakers.

actually i just went and ran new speaker wire to the speaker and everything works fine now....soon ill get some after market speakers...and why does the bose system always break down?

I'm glad someone else posted about this. I was wondering how I was going to get the aftermarket system to work. I think the Bose my uncle picked up is shot. I was planning on running subs & amps anyways, so I'd have to ditch the factory head unit to do so.

If your headunit has 4v pre-outs you don't need that adapter. Metra makes a harness that just plugs into your RCA outs and you don't need to wire up the speaker wires. I forget the part number offhand, but when I go to work tomorrow I'll check for it and post if anyone wants it.
