Guys, I'd like to bypass the 6x9s in the rear deck of my 90Q. Can someone ID wiring for me. I have black, black and blue, white and blue, yellow and blue going into the connector just before the bose amps, andI have Black, Orange, Purple and Yellow coming out of the same connector to the bose amps.Which of these is carrying the sound signal?

do you have a multi meter? if you have 3 wires sending a signal, you could have 2 +'s and 1 -. Just adjust your balance L to R to see which color goes to which channel and you're in business.

Another option if it's going to your amp is a + - and remote power.

Too bad I don't know more about Nissan/Infiniti specific things, instead of just 12v things.

Why not just buy a multimeter?

Seems like Harbor Freight sells a basic one for $3.99, and $10-20 will buy you one that does everything you will need for typical car stereo that you can keep and use from now on.In other words, if you don't even own, or feel a desire to buy a $4 multimeter, then you probably should not be messing around with the system.

Anyway, the other option is to buy speaker harnesses.
