I am looking for an bypass immobilizer so that I can install my remote starter. Does the versa have a "transponder type ignition immobilizer system"?

Has anyone bought an immobilizer? Which one?

Thanks! With your suggestion, I won't even need a key!

Is this it? http://www.drdetailshop.com/XK07.htm

I am a bit confused though...the picture here shows 2 moduleshttp://www.xpressdownload.com/....aspx

Is the first link all I need?

I did a remote start in my car and it was fairly easy. I had to go to fry's electronics and get a bypass and i only spent 15 bucks for there universal one. Not one problem with it so far.
