Bypass Factory Amps - 1994 Pathfinder

I am trying to figure out how to rewire the front speakers of my 94' pathfinder at the factory amps harnesses (passenger rear cargo area) so that the speaker leads from my head unit go to the front speakers.

I was able to rewire the rear speakers by looking at what colored wires come out from the headunit to the factory harness to the rear amp harness, and matching/splicing those to the differently colored wires that come from the rear speakers to the rear amp harness. When I tried to do that with the front pair, I could not find the matching colored wires seen at the front speakers at the rear amp.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or any information that could help me bypass the factory amps and use the existing wiring?

The electrical section of the 1994 Factory Service Manual may have the wiring schematic you require.

AWESOME!!! thats exactly what I needed... thanks!!!

i am a lil shocked that the wires change colors so much... but i was able to wire the front door speakers and tweeters in series so that all the speakers in the truck run off the headunit now.

I'm glad that helped. I suggest you download the entire FSM as it will definitely prove invaluable for you in the future. Save all the PDFs in a folder and use fwd.pdf to navigate.
