Bypass Coolent turbo line??

well my luck would have it yesterday when i pulled in to my house and shut the car off the coolent line for the turbo busted or has a hole in b/c it leaks coolent out all over the back of the motor...

its just the rubber line in the middle in the back...

can i bypass it or not? i was gonna just try and block it off and just have it oil cooled right now untill i can get to it...

Can you do it, ya. Should you do it? Probably not, just get some hose and fix it properly. Not that expensive.

With these OE oil and coolant based turbos, the oil provides for the lubrication, and the coolant pulls heat away. Yes, though there are some turbos that come factory oil-based only, they have it setup so that the oil is used for coling as well.

Just take the time to fix the problem and don't risk your turbo. Don't run just the oil...
