Bye Bye A/C, Got some aftermarket parts to sell too.

Well, after only 20 months of owning my 08 2.5s A/C I decided to move on. It was my 3rd Altima and 4th Nissan and might end up being my last. I didn't have any real problems with it, but; Long story short, I REALLY wanted an manual and those are super hard to find, and I wanted the bigger engine. I looked at the 3.5s, which were nice, but impossible to find a manual transmission on a used one. I also wasnt the biggest fan of the CVT. I know, I know, BUT I didnt like it and that seems to be the way Nissan is goin with all their autos. After about 30k mine started making a horrible grinding noise, like worn brake pads scratching on the rotor (and no it wasnt the breaks..lol) I took it to three different shops, no one could find anything really wrong with it, but they all sid they could hear the sound and it sounded harsh.

Anyway, the only way for me to try and get an A/C with a manual and a bigger engine was order one from Nissan. So I looked into it and it looked like a reasonably equiped one would run close to the 35k range... I decided I would be a fool if I didnt explore some other options. I ended up going with an American Muscle Car that was well equiped, larger engine than the 3.5 Altima, leather, 6 speed, 20 inch wheels, etc., etc. for about 7k less than the 3.5. So far I am very impressed and hope to hell that it is as reliable as all my passed Nissans have been.

Which brings me to:

I have a K&N Typhoon intake (2.5s) (cleaned and re-oiled), Eagle Eyez Smoked LED Tail Lights (less than 4 months old), and a Custom ALL Sheep Skin (black) drivers side seat cover with headrest cover and Airbag slit that need a new home. PM me if you are interested and I can send pics and talk price. Whatever doesnt go here, I wil ebay on monday Oct 3.

beautiful car, i was signing the papers to get one but it didnt completely convince me, mostly because it was uncomfortable. hopefully all goes well, i also have a couple of friends having trouble with their camaros (v6)

should have went with the 3.5 6 spd =( knowing that you have a rare car is amazing. yes, i had mine ordered for me but its perfect. i have yet to see another 2010 3.5 6 spd in my area. hope your happy with your decision!

haha when I was looking for my car, I found 3 Crimson Black 3.5 6 speeds, but I had to get the CVT... The funny part was that 2 of them were on sale because the dealer said that "anybody that wants a manual wants a 370!!!" haha what fools

Congrats on your new ride. Camaro is a great value for the performance you get; my neighbor has a convertible and loves it. My wife is loving the AC I drove for 16 months -- and tolerating my noisy mods -- since I moved on to domestic V8 high-performance (and premium gas!).

Awesome car. My buddy has the SS. That thing is crazy sitting at a light, shifter vibrating and man when you hit the gas it friggin moves lol. Love that car.
