Anybody running a Borg Warner T04E? .84 a/r turbine .50 a/r compressor or similar. I got a brand new one for uber cheap so I plan on using it on my build.

I'm about to run something similar. Garrett /Turbonetics T3/T04e 60 trim .60 compressor a/r, stage II turbine. 82 a/r

What trim is your Turbo? ?

From what I've read there's going to be a bit of lag.Probably boost around 4,000.

I'm pretty sure it's a 57 trim. Could be wrong though. I know a lot of BMW guys run them and make 400 horse no problem. What psi are you planning on running?

Straight T04e is a different animal than a t3/t4 as far as I know.

I don't know much about that turbo, but slow spooling is a certainty.

Oh... I hope its not a Straight T4 with a .82 a/r.

If it is LAG is definetly in your future. If so, then you should sell it, or but a new Turbine and housing.Selling it might be cheaper and easier.

I would assume it is a hybrid t3/t4.Cause a Straight T4 would hit more than 400HP.

A t3/T4e 57 trim is the turbo that I want and it probably the best matched t3/t4e setup.

Dang, honestly I'm not sure if it's a hybrid or straight t4. I've been having trouble finding information on my turbo. The Borg Warner website isn't exactly a ton of help. I tried running the part number on their site and i got nothin. I can post pictures of it if any of yall could identify it.

I haven't seen a T4 turbine. But i know a T3 Turbine is smaller than the T4 Compressor.I would assume that the T4 Turbine would be as large or bigger than a T4 Compressor. (in exterior dimensions)

You can also measure the Flange and compare it to T3 measurements online.

You would be correct sir. Heard some decent things about them so I decided to give it a shot.
