I have installed several subs on various cars but i finally decided to amp my speakers.

Problem is, when the car is on there is a buzz that is loud enough that is messes with my music enjoyment. To an extent it varies with the RPM of the engine.

What could it be?Everything is hooked up right as far as i know.

Please let me know. Also when just playing music with the engine off it seems like the volume is very high (and you hear a slight buzz) but it isnt that loud.

Please klet me know thanks!

Sounds like you have speaker wire or RCA's running next to your amp power wire or an existing bundle of wires and you're picking up the dreaded "alternator whine". Should be a simple fix by moving your RCA/speaker wire.

I usually only see this problem with cheap rca's or bad grounds.
