buzzing from fuse box and dimming lights

I searched!!!!!its a 92 coupe with a KA. battery is good i have 3 grounds comming of the battery to chassis and engine. the lights almost flicker!! the buzzing stops though when i give it alot of gas. any ideas?

nah its comming from the kick panel.. and i dont think its the relays behind the fuse box it seems to be commming from somthing above that..

whats that S.M.J? i think thats whats making the noise... but why would all the lights flicker?

and also my speedo jumps all around while im idling

so if the smj is just a junction then why would i be having this electical problem? you think it might be a ground? any specific ones i should check? im pretty stumped so any diagnostic tips would help a ton

i dont think the junction is buzzing. must be nearby relay.

im gnna try replacing relays tomorrow.. ill let you guys know if that was the issue..i know the relay could be buzzing but could that explain the lights dimming ? its really really bad.

relays usually buzz when they are not getting enough power. loose connection or something. make sure your battery is in good condtion and cables clean and tight.

battery is good and cables are tight!!! still nothing has changed

somthing on the back of the smj box is buzzing i unbolted the box and put my finger right on the buzzing.... what could this be?

what colour is it? is it a relay?

i dont know man.... i cant feel a relay, but i cant see behind there cuz its dark out,,,, but according to the pictures from before there isnt a relay on the back of smj maybe im wrong ill check tom. kinda wierd tho any possibilites taht it could be a poor ground somewhere else in the chassis??

the pic is only rough. flashlight is your friend. look up ground in tutorial link in my signature to make sure your overall ground is good. find out what is buzzing though.

i cant see the back of the smj box and i cant get it out, so im kinda in the dark. i found on another thread about the engine control fuse being blown, however mine seems fine, i replaced it any way just to see and nothing changed. A friend said maybe it could be my alternator.. is this possible?

i replaced all terminals, new battery, and new ground on engine, chassis, and starter!!!! whats wrong!!?! 2

fixed it! was a bad alternator regulator.... 60 for a used alternator... not bad.
