This started happening about a week ago. I was driving home and I started hearing buzzing noises from my cluster and my brake light starting turning on. Today I replace the alternator with a known good one and get my battery checked. Everything tests positive and I put everything in. There is still buzzing from the cluster and the brake light goes on. If I am accelerating or cruising, the brake light would turn off and no buzz but when I decelerate even just a little, it turns back on and the buzz comes back. I checked my terminals and look for any frayed wires and I cant seem to find anything. Anyone have any insight on this?

The car is a 92 vert

I have a similar problem i suppose. Not sure how similar but my brake lights seem to flash on and off at what seems to be random intervals while my car is parked and turned off. It doesn't happen all the time, just every so often. The car's a 1993 240SX. I've replaced the alternator as well but haven't seen a change at all. I'm thinking either fuses or bad wiring must be to blame. Maybe that's the cause of your problem as well?

Low on brake fluid? Dirty connector that goes to BMC?
