where are you located.Holidazed wrote:hey guys,
I need new tires for my 2001 PAthdinfer SE and am not having much luck finding them for a good price at local shops.
Does anyone have a reccomendation on where to order tires online in Canada or from a site with good shipping to Canada?
Also...I'm looking at getting either the Yokohama Geolanders, General Grabber AT2s, or BFG A/T's...opinions?
Thanks!

And yes I checked out Costco and Canadian Tires and the cheapest I could find at either is about $160 per tire...plus all the taxes and fees. thats too much.
Tirerack.com was about $600 including shipping but I mightget hit with importing duties. has anyone in canada ordered tires online from the US?
That sounds like a really shady place. $100 for 2 tires in cash, im sure you didnt get a receipt for them. I'm not a fan of surrey shops like that. I'd rather pay a few bucks extra to get tires with a warranty and a receipt. They are an investment.Innovazn wrote:Holidazed wrote:I'm in Vancouver, BC

brother..... you will love me and we will be good friends....
if youre free to travel to Surrey.... Country Tire... small shop, kinda grubby but you cant beat their prices on new or used.... i got a set of michi cross terrains, all brand new, 2 of them were "used" but they were rolled off the lot and straight to their shop to switch out... but none the less still new. 100 bucks for the 2 cash in hand with install and balance. and the other 2 which retail for like 250 i got for 180 each installed.
604 596 4444 give them a call. they are on King George just passed 72nd and a bit.
not to mention, the nicer you are the cheaper theyll go. Joke around and talk to them. theyll drop prices faster then you can pull your pants down during a surprise laxative attack.

believe me when i say "used" and "just rolled off the lot into the shop" its exactly as i meant. the tires came with the nubbies and all. absolutely pristine tires.WPGQX4 wrote:I shudder whenI hear " I bought to used and 2 new tires". If you do that, make sure the are the exact same tread height. Any money saved won't make up the cost of a damaged drivetrain.
