just like it says i want to fit a set of tires that will fit flush on the rim, i dont want it to buldge over the rim to much. does 245 40 18 sound right?? just wondering thanks in advance

I'd probably personally lean more toward a 235/40R18, but 245/40R18 should be okay.

Each tire sits slightly different, so keep that in mind. It has mostly to do w/ the actual tread width, sidewall protectors, etc.

For example, I ran 225 on an 8" rim w/ bridgestone re750's and it has a thick sidewall protector so it covered up the rim pretty good & even bulged just a little. I ran 235 Federal ss595 on a 7" rim and it bulges a little, but relatively less than the bridgestone (considering it's only a 7" rim). Hope that makes sense. A tire like falken azenis 215/615 run one size large (i.e. a 225 looks like most other tires' 245) because of the sidewall.

Im running a 225/45/17 on an 8.5 and its slightly stretched.

You could run either a 235/40 or a 245/40 for that perfect fit that you speak of.

Running 18x8.5's w/35mm offset, stock suspension, as you can tell. Hah! Still gotta get her dropped. These are Sport Max 502's. And yes I know they're heavy, but really just wanted them for looks. What ya think?Deucehttps://forum-attachments.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/pb/67deuce0/u37/IMG_0125.jpg[/IMG]MG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
