Buying T3 turbo on ebay

Is it a good idea to buy a used T3 turbo on Ebay? or am i better off getting a new one?(Budget is tight right now). if any one has bought a Turbo on ebay let me know if it has had any problems

There will always be a measure of risk here. It's not like you can check out the condition of the turbo. I'd probably just buy a brand new turbo, but that's me. I'm not a big fan of EBay anyways.

how about a manifold? would u get a manifold on ebay?

You could get a manifold off of Ebay, or you could just get the parts from JGS and have a manifold for like 150 bucks.

actually a good deal on going for a cheap mani is to buy ss autochromes sr mani fold for 175 bucks and then buy a ka flange and have it welded on there... all together its like ~300 bucks for a nice mani

bad side is u have to use a t25 turbo and its a bottom mount.... but hey its still a decent setup that will net you ~250 hp at the wheels with decent tuning
