Okay folks. I'll be buying a new set of wheels/tires in the next day or two (see this thread for which tire).

I can NOT find a NICE set of my factory wheels. All of them that I see are scuffed up, etc. I can't have none of that :lol.

They are all within my budget, all will be 18", and all will be on the same tire (the new Goodyear Assurance ComforTred or whatever it's called).

Here are the three options I've decided on.

I don't really like either of them but thats just me. I picked number 1 because it has a lip on it. If I were you, I'd paint the inner part of the rim black and leave the lip polished. That's just my humble opinion

Just think about keeping them clean - then Sport Edition KV5 becomes clear.

I've been looking for OEM replacements, but most of them have nicks and stuff and for the same price I can get an aftermarket set that is more light weight and obviously brand spankin new. I think OEM wheels are like 28lbs.

These are the three within the budget. I had big plans for my car, but no longer. Just going to drive it. I do need new wheels though because three of my OEM ones are bent. Thanks Albany, NY!

It could cost you less money to fix the bends. Around here it would be 95 a wheel. If you go 18"s and pick one with a lip the rim will look smaller esp since you're choosing 18"s. Since the 20"s are 80 more than the enkei's id get em over the rest. Plus 5 big spokes is a lot easier to clean than multi spoke wheels. I've been wanting to sell mine for that reason and to help show off the BBK more.

I know, but I can't afford to have my car down for any serious length of time...even 2 days. That's why I bought the M...the Maxima was starting to have issues and I saw the writing on the wall.

I don't want to drop.

Personally...I've loved the Sport Edition KV5's since they came out. They are Mille Miglia EVO knock-offs. BUT...I don't want to drop and my X would look STUPID with 20's.

Plus, if my OEM's got bent with a 245/45/18 tire...how do you think 255/35 or 30/20 will hold up...

I'm leaning towards the Enkeis.

If I was going all out on modding, I'd probably be rocking Vossen's too. But, it's just in my cards right now. I'm saving for a house and my wedding so...car comes last.

i'd go with the enkeis.
or if you could get a local set (with no bends) as cheap as mine, you could powdercoat them to give them a more fresh look. so that way, the finish wouldn't matter.

I've decided to go with the "BE by Breyton GTS-AV". But, instead of doing 18" like I was looking (OEM is 18")...I'm going to go 19". With tires (245/40/19 Continental ExtremeContact DWS) and new TPMS (so I don't have to rebuild my OEM ones or worry about taking the setup to a shop to get balanced, etc. - they will be installed by Tirerack), it's a total of $2,256 shipped to my door ready to mount. $400 more than I was looking to spend, but that's the price of going +1 in size and getting everything from one place instead of having to go to a shop, pay shipping multiple times, etc.

Stock wheels:

18x8
+47
~25lbs

Breytons:

19x8.5
+45
23.2lbs

nice looking wheel. i wish the offset were a little more aggressive but still, that's a nice wheel.
you should be able to sell your TPMS i bet to recoup some cash.

Yeah that's the plan. I might keep the least beat up wheel as a spare, put a new basic tire on it, and then sell the others to the scrap heap and sell the TPMS separate.

As for fitmet...I can always do spacers...BUT...stock wheel is +47 and sit pretty flush...so at +45 these should be the same.

Or I might list the wheels for like $350 shipped and see if anyone wants a decent set for winter. They only vibrate slightly, but I needed new tires anyway so I got a whole new set. If I didn't need new tires, I'd still use those wheels for thousands of miles till the tires wore out.
