I bought some Calico bearings for my buildup and the machinist said one half of the thrust bearing was damaged under the coating.

It looked like a crater...anyway...I had to buy new ones cuz the seller wouldnt' warranty it.

Just make sure you inspect your parts well before you go putting them on!!

That sucks man, never had anything like that happen to me and hope it never does. Were they a new set?
