buying catback ebay exhaust need advise

Hello to All, I need to replace my worn and tired stock exhaust on my S14. I seea lot of these catback exhaust on ebay for around $200. Looking for a quiet exhaust if possible free flow. I know some of you out there have used some exhaust that are quiet from ebay. if you could tell me which particular vendor in ebay or brand name if it has one. Cannot really afford a apex or hks exhaust. any input will be a big help. thanks.

id advise you to not waste your money on a part knowing someday you will have to replace it because it is sub par. if your stock exhaust is mechanically failing id advise you to buy a newer or less "tired" stock exhaust. the best advice i was ever given was to stop buying s*** on ebay. because its exactly that. s***.

p.s. dont be the guy with a bone stock whip and an ebay fart cannon. thats not a good look. youre better than that you drive an S chassis

Some fit, some dont. The main problem is the exhaust hangers. Welds will be alright, the metal will be alright, it WONT be quiet whatsoever. The main concern is the location of the hangers.

If looking for a quiet exhaust system look up brm exhaust systems on here there will be the about the quietest you can go bc they can install a resanator but at a price so save up and have some piece of mind that your non eBay exhaust won't fall apart as fast as you drive

The abosolute best exhaust as far as performance and quiet would have to be the Nismo exhaust. but good luck finding it, and its gonna be waaaay more than $200

You're right, though. Don't put a fart can on a car that doesn't need it. The performance increase from exhaust is negligible, at least without a number of other complimentary engine upgrades.

Thanks for the Advise. I guess i have to go with my original plan. I was going to buy the ApeX GT(correct me if i am wrong on the description). But looking also for stock look Apex Noir to get the cops from tailing my butt. Again, thank you.

If all you want is a stock looking and sounding replacement exhaust for cheap, just take your car down to the local muffler shop and have them weld something up for you. Quick and easy, take about an hour and shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred bucks

thats exactly what i did.... i had an ebay N1 dual rep. took it off and had this muffler shop weld me one up with a magnaflow muffler. cost $150... no resonator with 2.5" piping and 2.5" tip.... sounds perfect.
