Hell All,

I’ve recently been shopping to replace my cooling system ln my 90 z32. When doing so I noticed that some radiators explicitly state they’re for a turbo motor. Would it be possible to install it in a NA z? Or would I have to comply with its marketing statement? Thank you for all your input.

They are different; size, mounting points and fan shrouds.

TT rad will work on an NA but if you are getting aftermarket and you have an NA then get the NA rad, its wider (has more surface area)

Yes physically it will fit into place, but lower and upper mount are not the same. Therefore a lower adapter bracket is needed or cut and re weld/re position is needed. For the amount of work stick with an NA designated rad.

This in essence is true although you don't have to cut and re-weld anything, I've now owned 3 NA bodies that I've swapped to TT with a TT rad and just having the rubber grommets in the factory seats is enough for the radiator to rest on at the bottom as long as you are using proper brackets at the top (which are easily fabricated from plate steel). The bottom doesn't move even under heavy acceleration once the assembly is tightened down.
