buying another 240 ....

ok i have located a 89 240 HB 5spd. , its been lightly hit in the front and the guy is hella pissed on what to do so he told me i could have the car if i would just come and pick it up ! i was currious when the ka24d switched to the ka24de ? and the trans should be interchangable.

Not sure on the E to DE swap. I would imagine it would be straight foward, just swaping harnesses. A S13 KA24E trans will work on a S13 KA24DE motor.
