Tell the seller you want to see all aplicable paper work that should be with the car. Hopefully Sean Morris can chime in here since he used to work for/with MotorEx.

How much is the asking price of that car?

Agreed, especially for a GT-R

Somethings not right. You sure it's not suppsosed to be $48K? You can hardly find normal GTS-t's for that price in America.

I'd be very leary.

Where did you find this car? Internet, Auto trader, etc...

was actually lookin for for this one i been seein on CL for $15k for a few months... http://orangecounty.craigslist....html WTF? 15k?

and found this, perfect example priced right @$48k! right in OC too, says street legal... Im astonished myself. http://orangecounty.craigslist....html

OP, the VIN you showed is really close to what the other ad calls legal... cousin car if you will. VIN #: BCNR33022230

still cant help but wonder if its a scam, would take VIN to DOT, NTSB, and DMV if i were droppin that kinda change, which I would.... if i could, of course.

That car could very well be an old MotorEx car. Not a bad price tag for it if it is one.

Also, all Skylines from the R32-R34 had a GT badge on the side (provided they were a GT___ model. GXE didn't have it) and were three differnt colors. The G usually had white backing or silver backing, and the T would be either blue (N/A model) or red (turbo). Some N/As also had silver/silver GT badges, respectively.

4800 is dirt, I see non street legals for around 7-8k for a R33 but 4800 is a crackhead price.

It's a scam, we have several members who have been in touch with the seller trying to "work" him over. It's a bold face 100% scam. He will try to get you to deposit money and tell you the car is stored and waiting to be shipped so no pictures or in-person meets can be arranged... plus he's always "out of town".
