A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Well to start out, I have been around for a while, but havent been too active since I got rid of my Q45. I have owned a 94 altima gxe, and a 91 q45. Since I sold my Q, I had a celica. Well, I am selling my celica on friday, and I am buying a 2006 Sentra SE-R on in a week. It has less than 40k on it, blue in color, and fully loaded. The only thing it doesnt have, that I wish it did, is a manual transmission, but I am going to have to deal with it. lol.

So basically, what I am asking is this, what should I look out for with this car? Any common issues that I should be aware of?

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Less common (in fact, almost unheard of) with the automatic ones is the precat failure issue, which can be avoided by buying an aftermarket header. Again, though, it's practically unheard of in automatic SE-Rs.

Butterfly screws on the intake are another issue. Those can be Loctited pretty easily.

Other than that, pretty solid car. Best bet is to call a dealer and have the VIN run to confirm that all recalls are done as well.

I went and picked it up on saturday. I drove it over 600 miles back from memphis. No problems! I was extremely pleased with the overall driving experience with this car. It runs excellent, drives great, handles well, and rides pretty good. It is a peppy little car to. I am glad it has cruise control lol.

I will get picks up as soon as I can, work is kicking my but, and by the time I get home, it is already getting dark.

Ok, Well, sorry for the delay guys. I have been working like crazy. I just took these a couple days ago.

I just got my key fob that I ordered, and I need to figure out how I can program it. It is a used one.

Also, just for giggles, this is a car we saw at a cracker barrel on our trip. I laughed so hard...

Looks clean. Pretty sure only a dealer can program the fob for you. Not sure what, if any, cost it would be.

I got it programmed. I found the instructions and did it myself. Pretty simple actually, just had to get a new battery for the fob.
