Buying Advice: How much should I pay for a 1992 N/A 216,000 mile and light rust

Just wanted to get an experienced opinion. The vehicle runs fine, no idling issues no leaks that I can determine. There is light rust near the spoiler on the hatch and near the rocker panel near the rear wheels.

Edmunds is indicating 1200.00 and kelly blue book is at $3700.00.

The seller wants $3500.00.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Around here (Cleveland) it would probably sell for close to book.

I'd lowball him at 2750 and go from there.

best comparison is to other similar cars in your area, high miles, N/A with rust issues definitely not gonna be the easiest car to sell, don't be afraid to offer him what you feel is fair, maybe even explain that you have to compensate fro the needed repairs
