Buying a used Inifiniti G20

Hello Experts and fans of G20!
I am buying a 1999 G20 with 106K miles on it.
The car looks well maintained. Did not come across any obvious problems like rattle, steering wheel wobble or anything while driving on the street and freeway.
The area around the Engine looks good, no oil leaks.
What should i check for and what questions to ask the seller.
Is there a service that should be done at 105k?
I am planning to get it checked by a Mechanic, should I ask him to check anything particular or just let me do his job.

The G20 is a solid car, hope the inspection goes well!

If you haven't already bought it, you may want to ask for service records. Otherwise, they do have timing chains which don't need changing like belts.
I don't know where you live, but taking the time to jack it up and check for rust, torn boots, worn hoses, etc would be a good idea. Take a peek at the transmission fluid to see the color. Red is good.
But, do let the mechanic do his job. So long as he's good, he'll steer you in the right direction. The only thing I would ask is to see if he will plug the OBD reader into the port to see if it has had any recent codes.

I did end up buying a car yesterday. Not the G20, but the i30t.
Anyway when I took the G20 to the Mech, there were a bunch of leaks, engine mount crack and a delay in transmission shifting. Which the mech said will usually result in transmission problem.
So I had to drop it.
Had an i30 checked out by a Mech yesterday. Everything checked out except for a few minor things like tie rod, front rotors and brakes etc. I just bought it as I needed a car asap.
