I'm tired of all my cars getting bad gas mileage and requiring premium. I'm thinking about getting a Sentra. Just the cheapest model they have in a 5sp with only AC as an option. It's like 12k. It gets like 28 city/ 36 highway on Regular. My towncar gets 14 city / 17 highway, and my 91 240 gets 22 city / 25 highway (premium), and my 95 SR 240 gets 22 city / 24 highway. The Sentra would save me a LOT in gas. Plus I want to improve my credit by buying a new car. How good of an idea is this? Horrible? Should I buy a used car? Just dump gas into my current cars? I'm looking for some ideas...

since you have like, 3-4 cars, might as well not buy a new car. You're still gonna fill those up with gas, right?

Ya.. I just looked up the insurance and it would add 1100/6mo. I already pay 259/month, it would bump that up to 420/month for insurance. That's just crazy. Plus another + 250 car payment. It's starting to not look like it's worth it. I couldn't save 400 a month that I'll have to pay for the car in gas even if the gas was free....

With my job I have a huge excess of money every 2 weeks when I get paid. If I try to save it i'll end up spending it all. So if i have payments I need to make I usually do good... I guess i'll just continue dumping money into my bottomless pit 95 240.. I want better credit though, my credit sux. I need to buy somthing and finance it.....

I've spent so much money on all my cars that it would just be a waste to sell any of them. I've replaced the motor/clutch in my 91, SR in my 95.. I've spent probably 24k on those 2 cars alone (including the price of the cars). I couldnt get anywhere near that. So might as well hang on to em.

Or get like a 94 Sentra SE-R. Good gas mileage.. OK performance.. but it's a city car right? So you don't need performance to much. Plus it's small so parking ould be easy and what-not.. Just an idea. :)

I wanted to get a new one because my credit sux, just to improve it. I'm going to look into used stuff too now.

91-94 I believe

And a house might not be feasible just yet, but it is a really good idea.

I don't think I can afford a house.. Not easily at least. I only make 50k a year. I've got hardly any bills so I have lots of money, but I also spend a lot. I'll look into the house thing though. It might be an idea. I'd doubt I could find a house cheap enough though.
