Right now i'm looking into buying a s14, my questions are would it make a good daily driver. I plan to drift it alittle on the side and for practice but my main car i plan to use is my rx7 which isn't the best daily driver. So would a s14 make a good reliable daily driver but could also go out and drift. I thought i'd ask here since i know more about supra's and 7's than 240's. What should i look for in buying one? sd20 or not?

yes.although, the more you tune it, the less practical it becomes.

my opinion: i have a s14, basically all suspension replaced. only bushings really left are in the lower control arms.it is kind of ridiculous driving it everyday, everywhere. so stiff and low and harsh. daily drive takes it's toll.

all 240sx are very reliable, but if its a daily driver, just keep it stock and put oney into the 7.

it's the SR20DET not SD20. As with anything you buy used there could be problems and every motor is different, generally speaking, since the SR is a stock Silvia motor, there aren't problems with reliability. I'd say keep the KA motor if you want it to be a daily driver which you occasionally drift.
