I'm getting a new car so I'm selling the old. I put tooooonnnnns of time, effort, sweat, tears on this car and I hate to get rid of it because I'll lose a few thousand bucks but I'm graduating from college in June and I want a quieter, more grown-up car than the s13.

'90 240sx, ca18det, t28, 450's, z32 maf, 3" brm exhaust, o2 pipe, etc. etc. etc....

Check out my link, make an offer. I want to sell it fast, so I'm letting it go for very very cheap. Total invested is over $6000, and I have receipts for many new parts I purchased. I have smog papers. They are however over 90 days old so the car will be sold with the responsibility to smog and re-register the car left to the buyer. I went through this when I bought it. New paint on spoiler and both bumpers. Crack in windshild. Power windows, door locks. Perfect carpet and back seats. Drivers seat has the usual tear on the left bolster. Italian leather shift and e-brake boot. NISMO leather wrapped shift knob. Battery relocated properly to trunk. Precision turbo fmic, custom piping. Properly running engine w/ most maintenance parts replaced. Compression is within spec on all cylinders.

E-mail me at [email protected] if you have questions. I love all you guys and I'll still hang out on this forum because you guys are awesome.

It does suck, and it's so close to getting finished. I looked into personal loans so I could make it the way I wanted it but I grossly underestimated the interest rates and qualification criteria. I wasn't approved anywhere and the interest rate was over 17% anyway.

If you're thinking about swapping a motor consider that it took me over $6k to get to this point doing all the labor myself, not including numerous tools I needed to purchase such as taps, jack, jackstands, I bought a valvespring compressor to disassemble the whole head, etc. The engine is clean inside and out. I know because I took apart every little thing all according to the procedures in the fsm. Everything except the bottom end.

More details: Cooling system flawless. Idles at 78 degrees C. I'm thinking about welding up a new intake pipe with some extra 2 1/2 inch I have laying around. It would replace the stock black piece with the accordian crap and I'll weld on a nipple on the stock location for the valve breather. Also, the gtir turbo doesn't place the exhaust in the proper location, so at around 6800 rpm under load the downpipe just barely vibrates agains the frame rail. At 2900 rpm the muffler tips vibrate against the loop on the back of the car used for straps to secure the car for transportation or whatever. This really, really bothers me and I may fix that problem depending on how much I get for the car. I would cut and reweld a part of the downpipe so it lines up exactly where it belongs.

The interior carpet door panels were kind of ugly and the driver's side was coming off a little, so I made some out of a grey suede type material and it turned out about as good as the carpet was. It is grey though. The glove box has black leather vinyl and looks very good. The trans is perfect with no grinding. It drives nice, but it desperately needs to be dropped. It's nice and comfortable, but these car's aren't about comfort.

I'd like to sell the car fast so I don't have 3 cars at the same time for very long. I'm picking up my new car Tuesday and it would be nice to sell the s13 by next weekend.

$3500 with the exhaust moved a tad and the new intake. I have a bigger list of modifications in the classifieds forum.
