Wife has an 04 g35x. 178k miles. Great car but she wants a more recent vintage. Fwd ok as we are moving to FL. 2010 thru 2014 any yr better than another? Base engine is fine, leather, no tech pkg desired, auto. That would satisfy her.

Best time to purchase new is either Christmas or New Years Eve
Start shopping soon first on the Internet and test drives on a few dealers. keep shopping, returning monthly, and take as many test drives as she wants. Don't let the sales people pressure you
December is a great month for purchase. The worse the weather the better

Good luck

Well, there are no FWD Infiniti's so you can scratch that off your list. Your budget would depict what you can really afford and the year. Q50 would probably be somewhat premium price over the G37/Q40

Any year G37. The post facelift years came with more base features though. I was under the impression that the drive by wire steering on the Q50 was terrible. Was that changed for 2015 or 16?

BTW, I find the AWD far more interesting and useful on the dry/wet than snow anyway. Disable the traction control and it pushes through corners nicely, even with stock suspension.
