I will probably be poking around in the trucks forum so i thought i would introduce my self... My name is Donald and I live in Aurora CO. I was in school for automotive technology and will hopefully be getting a job at the local Nissan dealer soon. I don't post very much but i will be around.

Here is the craigslist ad for the truck i am buying

Nice truck! Good price if the frame is clean. There are two things I like to tell new D21 4x4 owners:

1) Oil fill plug is an inch too low on 4x4 FS5W71C transmissions. Overfill it by parking one side on a curb and getting oil through the fill plug, or you can pour oil through the shifter. These things have failed on people, so get that done.

2) Some of the stock steering parts are regarded as sloppy. If you need to replace the center link (drag link) I recommend a HooHaa which has heim joints instead of conventional knuckles. Idler arm brace with new idler arm bushings is not a bad idea, either.

Enjoyable trucks; slow, but fun. Trasfer case is shift on the fly if hubs are locked in (but only to and from 4hi).
