Hello all I'm new to this forum and sorry if I posted wrong here or if I was supposed to introduce myself, but since most of y'all are much more knowledgeable then me I was wondering if I could get some help with this.
Im in the market for a used 240sx I love the looks of the car, 4 cylinder good on gas?, reliability seems good, but anyways on to the matter.
I have found 2 240sx that caught my attention they are both 91' and both manual.
http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/3032913351.html - This one is a KA24DE N/A seems to be in relatively good condition and is only 3k
http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/3033089695.html - This one is a SR20 Redtop (Miles Unknown), I LOVE the color seems very unique imo, but I think that it has been ridden very hard, and the paint job I don't know how long it will last since it was spray bombed.
So my MAIN questions are: KA vs SR in term of Daily Driver & Reliability and which one is a better deal? I am new to the car scene in general right now I own a 1992 Mercedes 300sl that runs fine, but I've always had a thing for imports and Benz are overrated imo.

My KA is turbocharged and I'm over 180k miles and I drive it everyday.
I bet that car with the SR has been driven hard, people usually don't put in SR20s to drive it around slowly.

Plus, if that SR swap was done badly, you'll end up having to trace and fix the problems the previous owner made.

Both of those cars are WAY overpriced IMO. People just don't get the fact that aftermarket parts do not add to the value of a car. I wouldn't give more than 2K for the white NA, and that's generous without looking it over in person, $1500 is more like it. My parents bought me my first 240sx (which was in much better shape than that one) in 2002 for $1700. The spray bombed SR20 car looks pretty decent, but I still wouldn't give over 3K for it, mostly because you don't know the quality of the work on the swap and most of the aftermarket parts listed are cheap Chinese knockoffs.

Ok thanks for the advice. I was leaning towards the KA, because its N/A and I don't expect major problems. So I should try and get the price lowered to atleast 2,000? I also found this one http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/3048033097.html
