i'm still looking for a 240sx...i came across one that owner says that it was built here in america but made for canada....he says that the miles are in kilometer (in big print) and mph (in small print) like how the us version is vice versa..is this believeable or is there something wrong here.....and is there any difference with canada and us versions?any info will be appreciated...

In Canada all vehicles are sold with KPH pronounced and MPHin small lettering.

Have a 95 240sx and live in Canada. Best car ever - better then the 98 240sx I owned before it.

Why do you like a 95 240sx better than the 98 240sx?

The interior is exactly the same so my preference is with the exterior. I prefer the nose of the 95 vs. that of the 97/98. Same goes for the taillights. The side sills of the 97/98 used to be a bit of an incovenience when getting in and out.

The front end of the 97/98 without an upgrade in tire size is way too bulky looking and detracts from the rest of the car. The 95 has a nice curvy flow to it.

Also, if its canadian, it will have manual seatbelts. Not the stupid, crappy, goddammn, idiotic, waste of space automatic sh!tbelts that us americans have.

ps. can you tell that I dont like the auto seatbelts? yeah, mine dont work 99% of the time.

well i checked out the vin # on the 240...well there's a problem with the odometer it's been rolled back so the actual mileage is unknown....damnbut i'm getting desperate.....i need a car and i want the car to be a 240..so sh*t, i going to see if the body has any damages, especially the frame, then i'll take it to my mechanic and check out the engine.....if everything is kool then i'll take it.....he's asking for $8k but the lowest he'll go is $7500: he's got rims(decent rims), lowered w/ adjustable shock and springs, lsd, sunroof, a sound system(decent),and an AEM intakeanybody think i'm making a mistake shout out to me....the car's carfax says that it has been rolled back in 03/00 it had 90k and in 06/00 it had 75k, right now it has 106k.......what'cha guys think?i've been looking for 3 months now going on 4

I wouldnt get a car that has rollback on it. Better cars come to those who wait. Trust me.

That's what people tell, you'll find the perfect car..just be patient....but damn, its been three whole months of searching and getting disappointed in my findings...my co-worker told me that it's a pretty hard car to find so you might want to get what you could find.....plus 15k miles is missing somewhere, but if everything is alright beside the miles then i'll take it!!!!! but we'll see on friday when my mechanic look at the car.....i'll keep you guys posted....

Don't get it. I waited 6 months to find my car. He's asking too much, even if it wasn't rolled back...but it is.

sr20power...i doubt its rolled back. Canadian cars are common here in the states. I sell new Nissans and subarus, and we commonly buy used durangos or tahoes at auction that are canadian cars. The only difference is the KPH is bigger than the MPH on the spedometer, and you cant very miles...simply because you have to do the math to convert kilometers to miles, thats all.

still, i agree, asking wayyyyyy too much. especially for a canadian car. you never said what year the car was. if it was a 98, id buy it. anything older, offer less. if he wont go below $7500, tell him goodbye.

-- took me 2 years to find mine...i wish you luck

oh the car is a 95.....even w/ the list of mods: the above list and upper strut bars, sway bars, upgraded brakes (cross drilled, don't know what size but definitely not stock) and alarm system w/ ingine start, able to roll windows up and down.
