I'm looking at buying a 1995 240SX (non - SE).

What are something that I should look for before purchasing?

What would be a good price?

What are the differences between a base and an SE?

What are some things that I should know about the car, in general?

Thanks, hopefully I'll be a more active member starting tomorrow or later this week!

Brad

Ok, here's my list so far, tell me what I've missed:

Tension rods for leaks or bends

Exhaust smoke color

Check valve covers for rattles and the condition of the seals

Check for heavy vibration in the transmission at 3500 rpm

Audio quality

Check the fluids

Electronics and lights

Check on the optional Air conditioning and power door locks

Rust and repaint

Fuel line erosion

Timing chain condition

And Interior space (I'm 6'3")

Ok, so what am I missing?

that, and what Altiman said are a good checklist. You wont have to worry about interior space, except in the back. Good luck on your car, and let us know about it when you get it. =]
