buying a 240!. need help fast

I just looked at a 90 240sx hatch. the guy wants 1500$ it has 197000kms on it has new plugs , wires, rotor and cap. the guy just did the timing chain and injectors. could it be off by one link? eather advanced or retarded. the car ran fine before he did this. now it runs like ****

i need to know this soon. the interior is mint conditon the body was painted , but the left rear window is broken. who knows where to get one , and how much?

it has sat since '04 becuase he couldnt get it running right. i really need to know fast.

Dont be in a hurry. Dont get greedy for a cheap price. The market determines price. Worry about whether the car will meet your needs. Worryabout the mechanical condition. Stuff like muffler, tires, battery, radiator, leaking brake booster, etc will cost more than $1500. People act like crooks when buying and selling cars.

In what sense did he do the injectors? Injectors cost $200 each locally. You can get them cheap refurbished on the net.

ok i bought it for1300$hs new exaust, it rns as i said earlyer the timing chain was just done and it was not rnning right after the whole car is great besides the left rear quarter window is cracked becuse of a stupid dumba$$ and a bb gun but all the body is straight and there is mininal rust for a canadain car. could the cam timing be outta of wack?

the injectors are new same w/ the plugs, wires, rotor and cap. the wole car is very clean the oil pan has a lil oil along the gasket. but it is a reay clean car. I'm happy with it but i need to replace the quarter glass and fix w/e is causing it to run like crap. but w/e 240's are such a nice car. I've ben bitten by the nissan bug. I'll post pics soon it's nice.

Congrats:) If it was driven in the keremeous area it should be in good shape as far as rust. How much you pay for window will depend on the local market for used auto parts. There is a buy and sell forum here but Im not sure if it practical to ship something of that weight. I would expect topay 100 bucks for window but this will vary greatly.
