Hey everyone , I have a 2009 versa hatch 1.8 with the standard 4 speed auto and love it, It has 75000 miles . I'm looking to get a 2015 versa note sv But I am really worried about the CVT . Is it really a big problem ? How many miles do you guys have on your 2015 because I hear the 2014 and 2015 have a different CTV and the 2014 was really bad ..
Thanks in advance !
Paul

I have over 65k miles on my 2014 Note sv. If I am not mistaken, the versa s models have either a manual or traditional automatic option if the cvt is a deal breaker.

Service manual shows no normal ATX on the Note but it is on the sedan on '14 models. I see no standard ATX on '16 Note either.

I had a 2012 Versa S sedan with the CVT and I had no issues with it. It had 71,000 miles on it when I traded it for a 2019. Frankly, if your 2008 Versa isn't giving you any major trouble, you might as well stick with it. Buying used, you never really know how a car has been treated and whether or not it's been properly maintained.

The CVT on my 2008 Versa SL failed at about 71,000. Right on schedule it seems. Warranty paid for it, but after that experience the next one I bought was an S model with the 4-speed.
