how many miles on the car? Me personally... replace bushings and front ball joints. Check out PDM-racing.com A guy by the name of Don has been a big help w/ my build. You can really improve the way the car feels. Putting a powerful motor in a car w/ shot bushings is asking for trouble.

If you are going to use the car on the street, the Poly or Factory Nismo are nice. Pillow tension rods are a good easy start but... if you are doing that... replace the front control arms. PDM sells the arm w/ ball joint w/ a poly bushing for $75ish per side. This would make the front of the car tight again.

The rear subframe bushings are a huge job but well worth it. I dislike the split inserts. Why would a person put a "helper" over top of a smoked subframe bushing. When I took my "89" subframe out, the centers of the bushings were super loose and all the rubber was deteriorated.

Spend your money wisely... It goes quick...

you'll find that $2k isn't a lot of money for any type of big engine project to be done correctly. IMO and others will tell you the same, use that extra cash to make your engine and suspension solid, THEN go for upgrades. Good luck man.

If you are looking for some hp upgrades I would suggest an good air intake, a throttle body spacer (awesome!), an bigger exhaust system (start with the muffler), maybe a super chip too.
