Hey All,

I'm getting a deal of $9500 for a 2002 Q45. Mileage is almost 115,000. Full option.

Is that a good or bad deal? History report is pretty clean. what is the average mileage where infiniti cars start to screw up.

any known problems or (ppl who have owned) has it ever screwed u over?

thnx in advance

Is that the Infiniti Dealer performed service history together with all other service records? Can you verify the OCI?

Has it had the throttle and TCU flash update performed?

The electronic doo dads is what usually get you, so nice to have an Infniti extended warranty.

Be sure to read the buying sticky above.

Welcome to NICO, glitchy!

Infiniti extended warranty is not available on cars that old, or with that high mileage.

I would look for a newer, lower mile example {2004} that is new enough to get an extended warranty.....even though that would be a greater upfront cost to purchase.....I dont think the 02-06Q will be nearly as durable at high miles as the 90-96Q is....too many electronics and cost cutting has taken hold of it.

Or the most reliable Q's 97-01. I haven't heard any issus with the 04-up. Actually I saw an 06 at the gym and it looked nice. LED break lighting in the back...sweet.

Sounds like a deal if the car is clean. Verify the Carfax and Service history.. also the Premium Package is a nice option over the standard package. I have seen a couple of deals around that price range, however be sure to take a look at either the type of character you are buying from or else the quality of the dealership your purchasing from. I sure woulnt by a car like this from some "Se halba espanol" joint!Good luckHaggis
