Thought id post this in the wheel forums. I drive a lincoln LS, but my fam. has an Altima which will be my second car down the road ^_^

Ok tires Dealer APPLEWOOD (50 delta park brampton ontario)

Very Bad...

I bought 4 tires from them. When i left their shop, i began to drive home. After 20 minutes of driving, almost approaching home, my car began to Vibrate. Steering was kicking back. So i made a detour, to a local mechanic shop. The mechanic came out to inspect the problem, and found he was able to TURN THE NUTS by hand. ALL were loose on all 4 tires. the driver side was VERY loose, to the point he turned them by hand.

Further more, the tires installed were INCORRECT in dimension. My vehicle requires 235/50/R17.OK Tires installed: 225/40/R17

To add insult to injury, they used a TORQUE gun to remove the Security lock nuts, and BROKE them, and told me they were already stripped.

Withing the month, one tire had developed a bulge. when confronted with it, they replaced it, saying to me "dont worry we'll take care of it". When i went back to pick up my car, they Gave me the bill. However, this tire was warrantied. They wanted me to pay for it.

So ultimately, with that experience, I wouldn't recommend this company or OK Tires on 50 Delta park (Apple wood) to even change a kids bicycle tire. They don't know what they are doing.

Do your research before buying tires. Just cause someone has a big name, doesn't mean they are trust worthy.

Peace.

Hate to sound like an a$$hole... but:

1) You should have watched them to make sure they were doing it right. I always do.

2) You didn't check the tire sizes yourself? I can only assume you know nothing about their production dates, in that case, which is probably why one is bulging already.

Now as far as them breaking the locking lugnuts, yeah... they're retarded. Thats some horrible worksmanship and customer service they got over there.

Sorry you had to learn some things the hard way. That always sucks.

I'm sure the bulge has nothing to do with the production dates. Can be faulty from the factory (not uncommon), or he could have tapped a curb or something and the sidewall lining could have separated.
