We all need to be reminded, that even though someone makes an assurance, there is no reason to believe them and blind trust even with people here on the forum is not a good practice.

David Nenno.... aka as nanonenno6.... or nanonenn......on this site had a pair of lights for sale. I contacted him and asked specifically if all the tabs were in place for the headlight assembly and drivers side turn signal. He assured me all part were there and working. I told him I had bought another left turn signal and the seller had lied told me all parts were there and they were not ....to make matters worse. The first seller refused the return so I was stuck with tabs that were not there so the light was flopping around and had no way to anchor to the body.

Well despite the assurance from David, the lights came and the same damn issue. No TABS!!!. I opened the box in front of the folks doing the install and we all searched for the tabs....thinking they may have popped off in shipping. NO TABS!!!!.....

I contacted David and his position was the tabs were there.......What else would he say now that he is holding my $150.00???? Further he told me he does hundreds of these transactions and never has had a problem like this. Bull. Anytime you do volume there are issues. Also when you do volume quality control is not at the top of the list........to prove my point:

Turns out he did not pull the parts or package the parts,
but he swears it was all there.
Based on what? His imagination? His memory? Selling and shipping hundreds he recalls mine in detail, sure you do David. All of these are reasons to buy from this guy.

I had the shop rig the lights by drilling into the housing with a pliable wire and then attaching that to the body. It does not move and I got it to work for me. I asked this person to consider refunding me fourty dollars, he refused and basically told me to go to the devil. I did not get what I paid for and if I had seen it I would have never bought it.

The point is anyone who is here to sell and make money should be viewed as suspect. If they do not own a Q chances are they are here to make a buck and therefore not the most reasonable to deal with. You may have had experiences with this individual that were totally on the up and up and I am happy for you. That is what you should have expected. However my experience left a lot to be desired and for the sake of any of you planning to spend money with this individual or any other, use PayPal and do not accept ANYTHING other than what you paid for.....return it and file a claim with PayPal.

I did file a claim with PayPal but since I kept the item and requested a negotiation of a return of money they let me know they do not provide the service. I needed the lights when I got them and found it better for me to just rig them rather than return them, wait for the refund and still have to find other lights. After talking to Wes who has the same issue with the tabs on the lights, there are few used lights left that actually do have the tabs in place....so if you cannot see it, maybe you should not buy it. Needless to say there are certain people who I will never buy from again and this VENDOR just joined the list.

If you were contemplating a purchase at least now you have some idea what your experience could be with this VENDOR and since there are others, a better choice could and should be made. I hope this helps a fellow NICO member to avoid a pain in the butt.

One last thing if he had sent me ten dollars as a way to resolve this issue. I would not have said a word but thanks....... just an acknowledgment sir that there might have been something not quite right with the shipment. I would have accepted it and shut the hell up..................but for him to tell me to go to the devil made me think a posting was in order.

Well trust me you will get your money back in full and I am sure if you have his info Greg can guarantee it.

There are only a handful of people I know on NICO who I can trust!

And when I sell something I make sure its all there and the buyer likes it. I have only had two complaints but that was through craigslist and they both took a month to report there complaint to me. But I have never ever had a complaint on NICO.

Sorry you went through that but if I were you, I would do a chargeback with your back (that's if you used your credit/debit card to fund the purchase). That is the purpose of chargebacks. I wish someone would send me something that wasn't what my hard earned money paid for. I would immediately do a charge back.

Charge back would be as bad as what he did. I kept the merchandise and used it, as I said.

I did not want to return and go through all the hassles of getting him to refund my money. I used PayPal also as I said and they refused to negotiate.

DId you really read the post?

Hey Paul, I have dealt with you in the past. We all know you are an owner who has parts available. I have never had an issue with you nor have I heard of an issue with you. We all appreciate owners who have parts for sale, we share a common love.....The Q.

The Mercenaries who come here to prey on Q owners is the issue. For me, if they do not own a Q, have not been here a while or have not been actively posting, I will not consider buying from.

Real sorry to hear what happened to you. It's the worst thing when you buy something that has ben misrepresnted. Thanks for the heads up about paying attention to the tabs in case I decide to buy some in the future. I'm glad that you at least found a way to make them work.

Yes I read your post. The guy pimped you out of your money, it was very easy to understand. If I would've done a chargeback, of course I would've sent the merchandise back. Who does chargebacks and STILL keep the products? Well some people do, but I wouldn't do that. For one you destroyed yourself in doing a charge back because once you put the item on your car, it was yours. See the difference between you and I is that I WOULDN'T HAVE put a defective part on my car after spending my hard earn money. You did, you live with it. At least your were able to get them to work.

NightRider. what are you talking about? I am living with it fine. My post was to remind others!!! Pimped me out? Are you sane? I understand it was a nine paragraph writing and you seldom if ever read anything that long or detailed so no wonder you missed the critical elements. This is a prime example of the current state of the education system in America.

The point which obviously was way over your head, was be careful who you buy from.

Chargeback and all the other craziness you are talking had no bearing here.

What you would do, does not matter to me. It is highly unlikely I would do much as you would do it, thank GOD.
I would be too willing to post pics of my car. It looks good and runs great.....on most 94's there will be some defects, not many perfect cars after 16 years of driving. I can live with those much easier than I could live with a mental defect, if you get my drift.

Besides I am sure upon examination I could find problems with your car as well. Next you will be telling me your car is perfect.

Why are you angry because I pointed out to everyone you are one who posts before he reads the whole post and comprehends what he read? I got what I needed it was not as easy or as comfortable as I would have wanted but I got what I was after.

What are you after?????? Sounds as if you have some anger issues to workout Bama but direct that foolishness somewhere else.

A bit of advise: When you are quiet no one knows you are an idiot, when you speak up or post it becomes obvious that you have intellectual shortcomings....hush!

Lino, Mr Peeb and Paul seemed to get my drift, 3 out of 4 is not really that bad!!!!

Ha Ha...I have no anger issues; no NICO member here has ever sold me a faulty product. If you read my first post idiot, I stated that I was sorry for what you went through, but I would've done a chargeback to get my money since the seller sold me something faulty!! You then jumped to conclusion stating thinking that I advised you to do a chargeback and keep the product (another lack of intelligence). The point that I was stating was that you WENT THE WRONG ROUTE to file a claim against the deadbeat seller. Filing a claim through PayPal was a waste of time THUS THE REASONING I SAID ABOUT DOING A CHARGE BACK through you actual bank!! Actually you can do chargeback through PayPal, but the reason you couldn't get any help through PP is because you funded the purchase with your checking account (another foolish decision). You insult my intelligence but you don't even know the proper channel to file claims to get your money back :lolling: and you wonder why the seller got over on you. I think the educational system is ok, at least it was for me...being that I'm a Electrical Engineer and one test from getting my PE.

I don't care what you say about the deadbeat seller, but before you come to conclusions about me again (when did I ever state my car was pefect??? ), take the time to go through the full thought process of who you send your money too first! This is my last post, because I've dropped a couple of IQ points conversing on this topic...you sound like a teenager going through puberty.

I have to admit it doesn't look like you said anything about sending the item(s) back. And when you do have to send it back make sure the seller pays for the shipping!

I don't understand Night Rider why would you come in and argue with a guy who is hurting because he was ripped off?

CINNALOCKS trusted a person and got taken advantage for it in the end. That is not how this world is supposed to work but sadly these days it does. CINNALOCKS was just trying to say not to trust every if any NICO member because you never met the person before in your life.

I think Greg should get in here and fix this guy who ripped off CINNALOCKS and maybe delete some posts.

Sorry I had to get in the middle of this...

I did not nor will I read the response from this disturbed individual who chooses to ride at night. I will say this and leave it. It seems he needs some anger management classes. I hold those at my gym in the ring or cage with or without gloves. I extend a cordial invite to him and the class is gratis. Send me a personal email and I will provide you with all the particulars to make the meeting happen.

I was not interested in sending anything back....I needed the lights days ago. So I was stuck when I got them. Why would I return them and then wait for the same person to refund the money, when he was already showing his true color by sending me a bad part after the original discussions as in plural?????? That doesn't make sense to me.

I figured I was stuck.....so I did the best with what I had and looked to him to try to negotiate a refund, but I knew the likely hood of that was also minimal. My post was just to POINT OUT a problem seller and to remind/warn all here. I have nothing else to add......I hope this helped someone.

If you were not interested in sending back, why make a claim in PayPay? Are you near Alabama...I'll take you up on that offer. Being that I'm 6'3 235lbs, 8% body fat and that I constantly train with a friend who is a boxer fighting his way up the ranks, I'll take you up on that seriously. All in all, I'm not hear to argue, nor have I argued during any of my previous posts since I've been on this site. And of all people, I would think Paul would know that buy hey it doesn't really matter @ this point. What upset me was someone insulting my intelligence. Once again, I stated that I would have done a chargeback once the seller didn't want to make things right. That me personally, everyone else can do it their way it doesn't matter. I THOUGHT THAT IT'S UNDERSTOOD that you have to send the item back. If I told you to take the trash out of the house and throw it outside, would I need to expain that involved opening the house door to get the trash out of the house??? I didn't say anything negative towards the OP at all on my initial post, MY POST was taken out of context. I didn't think that I was dealing with people where I had to list every step but I'll make sure I do that next time or better yet I just won't post often in the Q secton and fall back like the rest of the old members.

I remember Maxnix and this guy with a F50 (2002-2006) Q45 had this argument about which is the better engine VH (G50) (1990-1996 Q45 engine) or VK (2002-2006 Q45 engine). They said they would meet up with each other and keep there engines at redline and see who's engine blew first. You know what though, NOTHING ever happened just like you guys meeting up and fighting.

I can say I am 7 feet tall, 300 LBS and have 2% body fat and for all I know you believe it because this is the Internet. Thats why I believe nothing till I can verify what is said.

If you have a problem with something you bought and pay for it through Pay Pal then 99% of the time Pay Pal will side with the person paying the seller because that how Pay Pal gets its money. Thats why its good to have Pay Pal as a buyer and sucks to use it as a seller.

So if we can get over this and have peace with one another I think it will work out for the best. And Cinnalocks just post every bit of info you have from the guy that sold you lights and let him suffer.

I do have to admit though the Q section has suffered a lot in posts, it near death in my opinion.
