Buy new or rebuild top end?

So basically I did something really stupid...

My turbo was not bolted down at all but its my only car so i figured it would be ok to drive lightly for a week until i got the new gasket and bolts. So for about a week I was pretty much running open exhaust.

Well, on my way home I suddenly lost at least 50% power and it went from sounding like the beast she is, to a dying lawnmower. After looking into to a little more me and my buddy thing that I may have burnt the valves. What do you think?

If anyone has any other ideas on what it could be, that would be greatly appreciated.

Im thinking I have to get a new top end, its a KA24E-T. Now I plan to eventually swap to an SR20 so I was wondering if would be cheaper to rebuild the top end or just go to a junk yard and just buy a new top end.

it does sound like u did screw up ur head and i would pull it off and inspect it and see how bad the damage is but it probably is toast.
