Hi,

At the end of the summer, I will need to change my OEM tire on my Rogue 2009. Mostly at the same time, I go to North Carolina for holidays and maybe, if this isn't too complicated, I will change my tire.

The problem is I don't have no idea where to proceed and how. I'm wondering if some Nico users already did this and if so, how they proceed. When I compare the price of the tire from tiretrack and 1010tires, the average different, per tire, is about 50-75$, which is not negligable.

Any advice? Online store they also install?

Thanks

I understand you are in Canada...my advice is go to a LOCAL tire shop and purchase a set of good all-season tires. My guess is if , for any reason, you have problems with your tires, then you can,t go to N. Carolina to complain, refund, etc. Plus if you go to a bad tire store with your Canadian license plate, they may sell a defected tire etc, since they know that you are not local and won't come back to complain. On the other hand, I purchased my tires from a local tire company and they offer a life-time flat tire warranty and free rotation service...

Well your post is a little vague. You've not provided any particulars. What size tire are you referring to? In your post you say "When I compare the price of the tire from tiretrack and 1010tires, the average different, per tire, is about 50-75$" what are you compairing prices to? Other online sites, local stores, stores in the US?

As for warranty issues, try going to Goodyear's website to find a dealer in the area of North Carolina you'll be visiting. If the price is right and they do the install, then you shouldn't have too many warranty issues as they operate in Canada as well. For that mater so does Sears.

I FIND THE BEST DEALS ON discounttiredirect.com
(i went ahead and did the research for you for the rogue.)

17" awd model: 225/60-17
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direc ... lse&cs=225

16" awd model: 225/60-16
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direc ... lse&cs=215

PS: i also went ahead and renamed your title for this thread. "Buy and install tire in USA" sounded like an advertisement, and i think thats why you didnt get the response you were looking for from members.

I suggest you check Costco. I had them install 3 sets of Michelin tires to my various cars, always left satisfied. Check them as well. Note that the tire prices maybe higher than the tirerack but their installation warranty is very low compared to local tire shops.
