you should buy one and keep your stock one as a spare diff just in case you dont like the way the welded diff feels or something like that....

You should scratch the idea of a welded diff and get a real LSD.

is it a ddd or just a drift car? daily driven drifterthe welded diff is the same everytime you drift while some other diffs like to change from time to time. A welded diff also requires "less" work in the wear and tear area but some have claimed to break a halfshaft,so its up to you, I vote for get the welded one and keep your stocker for back up

My original open diff is sitting in the garage, I got a spare open diff from the junkyard and had that one welded.

170 for a welded diff is a high price IMO. Do you know who welded it? If Luke from shock drifting did, i guess its worth it. But you better make sure if you get the pre welded diff, that the person can vouch for whoever did it. For all you/he knows, its barely hanging on and will snap and kill you when you push it. <--whoa. But i agree with buying an extra diff incase something happens. I welded mine and unless i get sponsered, I'm not switching to a 2way.
