Hi guys,

For anyone with a Japanese G50 Q45 here are translations of some of the Japanese labelled buttons in the car, and the fuses in the car:

Hope they come in handy. This is from a 1989 HG50 Q45, note your car may not have all of these options, the fusebox in particular has fuses for features I don't even have (I don't think!).

Oh, and I have no idea what 'Pure Tron' is either, that's just a phoenetic translation.

Ben

Thanks Blipman! If I end up bringing over a Q or President this'll be a great deal of help to me. How's your Q looking these days anyway? Find any rims for it?

That's a J-Spec Q45, not a President.

MiniMan, will take some photos soon once it's been given a clean, I was expecting pretty poor condition, and that's what I got Actually mechanically it's fine (once I get it started again) and the leather is fairly good, but the exterior is shocking, will need a full panel and paint. Will look a million bucks when done, just not sure if I have the money or patience for it... we'll see.

Hey does anyone have these pictures because I am really interested to see them?

I have also contacted the original poster but I am sure that newbies would also like a gander.

Yea I know one of the oldest topic bumps ever.

I got a friend of mine to translate the fuse label form Japanese to English. My dad then made a few labels, which look exactly the same as stock labels, except with english (corel draw freak).

I have a couple spare in a folder, where I keep all my useful Q info.

The other buttons in the car I have figured out by "press and see what it does" mentality....

What did you want pictures of exactly?I can go take some photos and post them if need be.

Here are a couple I already have on photobucket..

The bottom button is used to turn the rear air purifier on and off.The one above it is used to turn on the rear zone climate control, from the front seat (There is another button in the rear armrest, to turn it on from the back)

These are the controls found in the rear armrest (night shot)There are controls for the stock Bose head unit (power on, volume, tuning for radio, and band (AM/FM) selectionControl to turn the rear climate control on and off, and the little green light is located in a slider to change the temperature from hot to cold. Also, a button to turn on the air purifier (from the rear... obviously)

The front controls....

I believe the Pure Tron refers to the rear package shelf HVAC filter we did not get in the US.

Actually the PHG50 (Nissan President) did have a cabin air filter in the HVAC some where. But that thing in the sun deck is a air cleaner with that can be switched on and off. So it does'nt filter the incomming air just the air already in the cabin.
