Button/relay switch

I have an m35x and I picked up a snow switch to use in a modification I'm doing. The switch has 8 contacts so I believe it acts more like a relay and on/off switch than just a stand alone switch which as it turns out would be even more helpful for my needs. I've already figured out the 12v contact and two other contacts that activate with the "on" function of the switch, but I can't figure out the rest of the contacts. I have already tried using the continuity, but nothing. Could someone let me know what the other contacts are meant for, and how to make use of them? Thanks.
