So I went back to the Dyno today.

With 15psi of boost (less than the first time!) I made 222whp and 214lb-ft of torque

222.5hp @ 6250214 lb-ft @ 4500Ignore the way the revs drop, I forgot to put the clutch in.

This is the OLD dyno wth 17psi (I thought 16 before but I checked my zeitronix log and it was 17)

207.7hp @ 5000rpm228.4 lb-ft @ 4500rpm

You can REALLY see the difference..

So what exactly did you change? Did you run the BV's off vacuum or did you set it up like the factory with a solenoid valve? Or am i missing something?

My car is a real silvia, unfortunately it seems that the solenoid is broken so that my butterfly valve actuator ALWAYS saw vacuum and never opened the secondary ports.

The better run was done with the vac source disconnected from the actuator.

All you need now is to get a readout showing the valves hooked up and working correctly which should retain the new top end and also get back that extra slice of torque and power up to 4500rpm shown in the second graph.

Yeah the butterfly valves obviously make a pretty big difference in torque numbers. At 3100rpm I'm making like 25 LESS lb-ft

I'm glad to see this finally making it to a dyno. Mine are hooked up straight to vacuum, so I'm wasting some low end torque... I'll have to change that.
