Butterfly removal-I know this has ben listed for the KA24DE, but I don't know how to do it on the ka24e. Is it worth doing, what are the trade-offs? If anyone has any diagrams or pictures of doing this that would also help.

if you'd like all the power you can squeeze out of the ka, go for it. you get a little bit more power out, but it makes the idle and low rpm a little worse

I think it's only on DOHC engines.

when i disected mine i saw the butterfly, and to be honest, its really not worth the effort.the butterfly is a *very* small air restriction, and honestly, i doubt you will see any gains unless youre boosted.
