it would be cool if someone on here would do a full write up on how to change every bushing on an s13 and where exactly all the bushings are.....i think its important since most peoples bushings are probably wearing out by now like mine...i want to change all or at least most of the bushings but dont have enough knowledge as to where they are and how to change them.....thanks

alot of bushings you need a press to do, it seems like most s13 owners just buy new arms with rather then replacing the bushings, but when/if I get around to doing the rear of my car Ill try to remember to take pictures.

Its all pretty self explained when you get down to it though. there are bushings on pretty much all the moving suspension parts that means:Front--the point the control arm bolts to the cross member.-the hoop at the end of the tension rod were it bolts to the bracket.-above and below the control arm were the sway bar bolts to it.-In the D brackets for the sway bar (the ones holding it to the car)-one on each side of the PS rack, one just raps around the rack the other fits in groove on the rack.Rear--pretty much any place an arm connects to the steering knuckle, as well as the ends of the control arms-differential mounting points-sub-frame mounting pointsRear--pretty much any place an arm connects to the steering knuckle, as well as the ends of the controll arms-differential mounting points-subframe mounting points

Whenever people ask the question:"What suspension mods should I do?"The regulars always mention a urethane master kit.Would it help if I scan the Energy Suspension install instructions?

now when i replace both front sway bar endlink bushings will have to get an alignment or something after?????? would u just jack the car up.... take the 1 bolt out.... push the sway bar out of the way to insert the rubber and then just put the bolt back in? is it that easy????

End links are really that easy.As far as do you need an alignment? Not for new end links. But when was the last time you had one done? Will you need to have alignment reset after the complete bushing job? yes

naw alignment is only when you mess with things that change caster camber toe or ride height (ride hight changes all those for you)for the front, Unless your struts bolt holes are slotted for camber adjustment you can take it all apart, all the settings are made at the factory, and are non adjustable.

and yes for the most part its that easy... You dont have the D-bracket bushings too? If you got every thing just unbolt the nut and bolt holding the D-bracket to the car, and unbolt the endlink. Put silicone lubricant (should be supplied) on the inside of the bushings and then put them around the bar. For the endlinks you should have 2 new bushings each side. one goes on top and one on bottom, make sure you have the washers in place, then tighten the nut till the bushings start to plump....its that easy

would probably be more appent looking at the car...D-bracket is the bracket that looks like a D...it holds the sway bar to the frame of the car, there are 4 yellow bushiings in this picture, the two on the right are the D-braket bushings (gimme a sec and Ill go find a better pic)the two on the left are the endlink bushings. you need two bushings for each end link, one for above and one for below the control arm.
