Hey, I dont know what to do right now. I was going to be buying some springs but that deal went sour so I have been looking into a bunch of bushings IE:tc rods, the control arms front & rear and upper, and some subframe spacers or new bushings. Right now I have enough to get these, all the whitelines. But I have been thinking should I just save up another hundred or so and get springs and shocks and do that first?? What do you guys all think?? I know its all up to me but whats your opinions??

Also I am setting her up for auto-Xing. I want a nice handling car. Power will come later. Shes a 89 coupe by the way all pretty much stock except an intake and sway bars. That also leans me more towards new bushings since they are very old. thanks

I say springs now bushings next. If you get bushings now you will take out some slop, but you'll still have stock sloppy springs. But if you get the springs now then you'll notice a bigger improvement right off the bat and then later when you get your bushings, everything should come together nicely.

I would do the bushings first, for regulation purposes, you can gain a lot of feel and grip just by reducing suspension "flex", and it wont force you into a new class in autocross.

Plus, unless your familiar enough with the different springs to know whats best, you can have time to ressearch that before you put them on. Also, suspension bushings can be cheap...so it may help you to budget things. You really cant go wrong doing either things, as long as they get done :)

if its "one or the other, not both" I would do the springs and shocks.

Well Im deffintitlly goin to do both eventually its just the money I have right now will only allow me to do one. I think Im going to go with the bushings because my subframe is really annoying me with that clunk so I want to get some spacers so I mine as well get the rest too. Unless someone has any more reasons to do the other.

Also what places can you get them really cheap. So far the cheapest Ive found is through NismoFreak he beats pdm by a couple of bucks
