Just a note, this topic's been discussed a lot, so a search would have answered the Q.
Installing bushings is easy, if you have a hydrollic press. When I did my TC bushings, I pulled the rods, took my new Nismo bushings down to a mechanic's shop and had them press out the old ones and press in new ones. Make sure that the new ones get greased up before they go in, or else you run the risk of warping the bushing casing. That happened to me, but we were able to salvage the bushing and get it back in.
Some people have managed to use a torch to burn their old bushings out and then using the weight of the car, press the new ones in. I'm not sure how efficient the process is, but when we were using the press, we had about 4 tons of pressure on the bushing and it was very slowly going in.
For cost, it depends on your mechanic. Mine would have been free, but the owner of the shop was being a b1tch that day and i had to shell out 15 bucks for the TC bushings.
