ok i went to the mechanic for an alignment and he pointed out my bushing were totally shot. here is a picture of what he told me should be changed. its the one on the bar that actually supports and holds the tire and strut. how hard are these to change all around the car, and what are the best to buy?

those are tension rod bushings... http://www.courtesyparts.com has replacements, if u want to do an upgrade though get whole new tension rods like splparts, they have nice ones

the bushing is an interference fit in the tension rod...you will need a hydraulic press to get it out, If you don't have one(and Id suspect you don't) you MIGHT be able to do it with a vise but IIRC its in there pretty good...IMO the best rout my be to try to find the nismo tension rods...Dan from midway might be able to hook you up with a set if you check out the advertisers forum...If you buy new bushings you might also have to pay to get the old ones pressed out...by the time you go though all that it might just be close enough to the same price to make the nismo ones worth it. Like wise If you buy spl or something similar you will need an alignment, and that will add a bit onto the price of the new rods...the nismo ones have no adjustment, so you don't need an alignment, and you don't need anything more to replace them but a 17 and 14 mm socket, and a torque wrench
