I know there is a million threads about bushings, but it can't be said enough. I have to say bushings are one of the best things you can do for your car! I finally had time to install all of them and it's a mega difference. Sorry for the 10000334985th thread about this.

sorry no pics, i was to pi$$ed the whole time. I dont remember how much they were. I know they were under $200. Just to let you know, do the back first and get it out of the way. I didnt have a press so it was a pain. In the end , it is like drivin a different car. They are worth every penny and drop of blood.

I went with every single whiteline bushing available from PDM racing (cheaper to get the cheaper 'master kits' but i dont think whiteline has a master kit.. had to buy individually). Yeah from 20 year old blown bushings it 'rocked', but it sucked in the long term as things just started binding like a mofo and squeeking and boo... Polyurethane bushings need zerk fittings to be of any use properly (they need to be greased).

I went to all spherical bearings (everything including uprights) except FLCA and RLCA... WHAT a world of difference, no more binding, no more squeeking, no more harshness, just tight and direct... bad a**... that's all I have to say. Time, labour, complexity of removing/installing and money on polyurethane bushings = fail. Spherical bearings on adjustable arms = win. Just my 2 cents...

So poly or alluminum? for daily purposes with some rare track use.

if you get new arms then yeah a couple of them would be replaced again. but there are over 20 bushings just in the rear. on the shaking question, may help or make it worse depends on the cause of the shake. the ride isnt so much more comfortable but it is comforting with less sway and roll and more feel.

dude if your car is shaking you should probably get an alignment. im pretty sure the bushings aren't going to have anything to do with car shake. frame might be bent. bent lower control arms bent subframe. i would get that checked out before you die

I'm a newb on suspension, but what should you get/need to replace the bushings besides from the bushing kit themselves. And what are the symptoms of worn out bushings?
